To provide more interest, the local dyers use African brocade, also known as Bazin; a fabric that comes with patterns on it.
After dyeing the brocades in whatever colours they choose, the beat the fabrics, inch by inch, using a traditional method called 'bugu'.
Bugu gives the fabric the sleek shine you see in the picture.
NOTE: Because of the use of traditional process, the colours might be a shade off conventional colours.
Sizes night also be a little off due to shrinkage from the dyeing process.
Available in a variety of colours. Patterns might vary from the ones in the picture. Only available in yards.
